Keith Paris is an Information Systems officer at the Westchester County Department of Public Works & Transportation. He has been entrusted with the data integrity in the development of various phases of Trapeze and Orbital software systems for the transportation department for both surface transit, and ParaTransit operations. He functions as the Google Transit GTFS static and Realtime feed data administrator. Keith was responsible for a critical Bus Route Reconciliation Project, wherein he created a geo-database and digitized every bus route in the Bee-Line system, added appropriate attribute data, created metadata and reconciled data. He provided critical assistance to the GIS department in the Trapeze project to facilitate the deployment of the proposed AVLS (Automated Vehicle Location System).
Keith has been involved in multi-faceted technical exposure to various applications, including; Xerox (Orbital) Factory Acceptance Test in Columbia, Maryland; 511NY Transit Service Information Portal (TSIP) developers committee workshop at City College; OrbCad System Administration and Data Administration at Liberty Lines Transit; 15th World Congress on Intelligent Transportation Systems in New York City; Transit Service Information Portal (TSIP) Procurement Workshop at NYMTC, in New York City.
Prior to Westchester County, Keith worked for Coca Cola, providing Information Technology and Logistics expertise. He successfully created an efficient delivery routing using ATLAS Logistics Solution Package. He used excel spreadsheets to maintain branch plan Case Per Resource Hour (CPRH) and to provide management team with daily and weekly reports. He was a regular source of process improvements idea for management. He was entrusted with a full range of responsibility regarding logistics, data analysis, & management interface using industry specific software.
Keith has an A.S degree in General Studies; a B.S. in Computer Information Technology, and is currently working on his M.S. in Information Systems. Meanwhile, he has attained his Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Certification – Principles, Customer Service, Warehousing and Transportation Operations. Keith Paris sees TDC as an undertaking that can benefit from his wealth of technical expertise.
